Oolongs are prized by connoisseurs because, like fine wine, they possess a distinct terroir. Unlike other teas made from young buds, oolongs use mature leaves that can withstand deep roasting to produce a robust, "sticky" flavor profile.

The Multi-Infusion Routine: The true magic of Black Pearl is found in its evolution. Because the leaves are tightly balled, they unfurl slowly. We recommend making this part of your brewing routine up to 4 times. With each infusion, the large leaves expand, shifting from heady orchid florals to a savory, toasted sticky rice finish.
