We include a handmade leather chin strap so you don't loose your hat. Our straw hats are made by a group of women artisans in a small mountain town near Cuenca, Ecuador. Materials & Process

Minga hats are handcrafted by a generational family of hat makers in Ecuador. This means that no two hats are exactly alike and almost all contain irregularities from size to color. Please allow for slight imperfections as this is what adds to the unique character of each hat.
